Batman - Everybody Lies (Portal Games)

Criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot? If only it were that simple... Every day someone is silenced. Greed and corruption flow through the veins of the authorities, but we smile and give our voices to the faces that promise us the most. Every day a new lie is told. Gotham City's cityscape reflects the people who call it home – people raised by the city and molded into criminals, mindless sheep, and the oppressive elite. Those who were once superstitious and cowardly have become brave – free from fear, kindness, and honesty. We all lie to ourselves that a symbol will be able to save us. – Warren Spacey, Gotham City™ Gazette

Batman – Everybody Lies is an expert game with a gripping story. Players are recruited by Jim Gordon™ to investigate cases that fall outside the purview of the Gotham City™ Police Department. You each play one of four possible characters: veteran police officer Harvey Bullock™, passionate journalist Vicki Vale™, down-on-his-luck journalist Warren Spacey, or cunning thief Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman™. In each episode, players must work together while trying to achieve their own personal goals. They travel through Gotham City: from the murky underworld to the bustling offices of the Gotham City Gazette. After each of the three full-length episodes, players complete a final report and are judged both on the time they took and the secrets they uncovered.
