The Academy of the Order of the Black Rose lies in ruins, yet its power still beckons! 25 years after the last war, the Magi (Mages) are once again in the Lodge to restore order. The Black Rose is still there, but the rooms are damaged and it's time to rebuild them.
As Magi, players in Black Rose Wars – Rebirth compete against each other to gain supremacy over the magical academy and the power of the Black Rose artifact. A game is divided into various phases. After players choose new spells from 6 schools of magic in each round, they plan their strategy. Forward-looking programming, such as the order and orientation of spells, is essential for the effectiveness of the spells in the subsequent action phase. Then players reveal the played cards to fight other Magi or the Black Rose, which also participates in the battle, summon powerful creatures, or complete tasks. Curse and upgrade cards must also be used wisely to gain valuable advantages in combat. To prove themselves worthy of its power, players confront the Black Rose. In the game mode with an Avatar, it even takes on a form. As a Magus, it makes its own moves and becomes an even more powerful adversary.
Black Rose Wars – Rebirth is a competitive fantasy game with deck-building and combat elements, set during an alternate version of the Italian Renaissance. 35 miniatures enhance the fantastic gaming experience and the magical battle for the Black Rose. Black Rose Wars – Rebirth is a standalone game and can be combined with Black Rose Wars.
