City of Angels - Pegasus Expert Game

City of Angels is set in 1940s Los Angeles and is a game of mystery, deception, and investigation. Most players take on the roles of LAPD Detectives who are willing to do anything to successfully close a case. However, one person plays the role of the Chisel, whose sole objective is to mislead the Detectives at every turn through bluffs, manipulation, and (often) outright lies.

All players in City of Angels receive a separate, detailed investigation file with information on the nine cases. Each crime is a carefully crafted puzzle that can unfold in different ways. City of Angels uses the innovative AAC (Adaptive Answer Card) system to create the feeling of interrogating suspects. Using the reaction cards, the Chisel carefully chooses what the suspects reveal to the investigators. Players can question answers they believe to be lies, but this comes with a risk: if they are wrong, the Chisel gains influence over them.
