Cthulhu: Alone Against the Frost (Softcover) - Pegasus Role-Playing Game

This solo adventure in the Canadian wilderness takes you back to the 1920s as Dr. L. C. Nadelmann, Professor of Anthropology at the renowned Miskatonic University in Arkham, Massachusetts, into the legendary Valley of North Hanninah. Accompanied by three of your most gifted students and an experienced indigenous guide, you are on the lookout for an anthropological discovery that will make you famous and advance your career.

Such an expedition harbors a variety of dangers, from rapids to superstitions and myths of the region's inhabitants - not to mention wild animals! You choose your own path through the story - it is up to you and your decisions whether the expedition will be a success or end in disaster!

A solo adventure, as the name suggests, is played alone, meaning without a game master! The book is divided into 655 sections, at the end of each section it states where to go next, and often you get to choose! To play, you need the basic rulebook or the player's rulebook, a pen, and role-playing dice.
