Cthulhu: Catastrophes (Hardcover)

Secular disasters are a balancing act between fighting for one's own survival and helping other people, representing an extreme situation that can traumatize those involved forever. But what happens when the Cthulhu Mythos is added to these events? Then you have a drama that is squared by Mythos elements.

Very different combinations of the Cthulhu Mythos and disasters are the subject of the five adventures presented here, some of which draw on historical events:

In "The Call of LeGrasse", New Orleans is flooded!

"Underground" features a mining accident!

"Sweet Death" revolves around the Boston Molasses Disaster!

"Death Fog" is set against the backdrop of the London smog!

"Fire and Ash" involves a conflagration in Berkeley!

A short source section also provides background information on disasters and tips on how to integrate them into your own adventures.
