Something stirs - A vanished prince, - A cunning intrigue, - A dark power yearning for revenge - Unrest reigns in the otherwise peaceful Sultanate of Daiwaristan, for the aging Sultan's only son and heir has disappeared without a trace. Where could he be? Has he run away? Or is he the victim of an abduction? And what is behind the rumors of the prince's secret love affair? All these questions must be answered to finally find out where the prince is: in the realm of the Mummy Lords of ShanZasar. So, it's time to track down the prince and travel into the land of the undead, where the scorching sun of Helias burns down on the desert by day and the bony servants of the Mummy Lords roam by night. But this is just a prelude to the true horrors lurking in the Pyramid of Death, for here giant beetles, skeletons, undead priests, and not least an evil banished centuries ago seek to end the characters' lives. - Pyramid of Death is a Dungeonslayers adventure for characters of 9th to 12th level, set in the Sultanate of Daiwaristan and the realm of the Mummy Lords of ShanZasar in the south of the world of Caera. Here, tales from 1001 Nights meet sinister undead, slaves toil in the construction of massive fortress pyramids, and a deafening noise prevails when haggling in the bazaar. Daiwaristan, the starting point of the adventure, is presented in detail and can also serve as a base and retreat for adventures in southern Caera after the events in this volume.
