Flippermania brings the excitement of pinball arcades to the game table – no quick reflexes required! Players juggle the ball between bumpers, hit drop targets, unlock skill shots, activate multiball, and even play some mini-games on the backglass. Ball almost out? Sometimes it helps to "nudge" the table a bit, but just don't tilt too much! Whether playing alone in pursuit of the next high score or simultaneously with multiple players, all having the same dice and machines available – a Roll&Write has never been so thematic! The four different game boards each bring their own challenges and bonuses.
Each round in Flippermania, two dice are rolled, representing the possible movements of the "ball." Players must then – each for themselves – choose one of the two results and mark it on their own game board in the appropriate place. This gradually fills the spaces of bumpers and various targets, and the ball slowly moves from the top to the lower areas of the playfield. With the help of the flippers, it can be propelled back up at the right moment. The player who has collected the most points at the end wins.
