Monster Inn

Good staff is hard to find. This also applies to Monster Inn. As Dungeon Masters, players therefore look for strong monsters for their sinister dungeon in the local tavern. But the other Dungeon Lords and Ladies in the neighborhood had the same idea, and so a fierce bidding war for the best monsters begins. Those who are not careful will not only get the weakest monsters, but perhaps even one of the nasty humans lurking in the tavern.

In Monster Inn, different valuable creature cards with monsters and humans are revealed in each round. Players naturally only want to hire the most powerful monsters and pawn off the nasty humans to the competition. They therefore bid on the cards with gold pieces or gemstones. But first the humans are always auctioned off, and those who can no longer or do not want to bid take the current pool of treasures and the card that is currently being bid on. Who will be the most skillful and fill their own dungeon with powerful monsters that will pulp any human intruders?
