Spirit Island: Serpent Slumbering Beneath the Isle [Mini-Expansion]

A long time ago, when there was only water where islands are today, one day – for there was day and night even before humans – a great sea serpent grew tired and decided to rest. It churned up the seabed around it. This was the birth of the island. Other stories tell different tales – especially Rising Volcano has very own views – but perhaps both stories are true. Many spirits, in any case, sense the gigantic serpent beneath them. Mostly sleeping and without direct influence; but the desolation of the invaders is beginning to make it more awake than usual...

Serpent Slumbering Beneath the Island is an additional spirit for Spirit Island with high complexity. The set consists of the spirit's tableau and its four starting abilities. Whichever path you choose with the serpent, you need patience: In the first rounds, you will gradually establish abilities and presences. The serpent is not completely helpless then, but by far the most ineffective spirit ever. After awakening, it becomes incredibly powerful, but it takes a lot of time until then.
