The world of The Vale of Eternity is full of magical creatures such as giants, dragons, phoenixes, Nessie, and many more. As tamers, players want to tame and summon the most powerful of them to help them score the most points. A total of 70 creatures, inspired by different mythologies, allowing for various strategies, are to be discovered in the game.
In each round, new creatures are first revealed, which players can then sell to obtain runestones. Alternatively, they can tame creatures to add them to their hand, summon creatures to play them from their hand in front of them, or release creatures to discard them. In the activation phase, all effects of the creatures in a player's display finally take effect. Whoever best combines the abilities of the creatures will win The Vale of Eternity.
